A very special event took place in Mayanei Hayeshua this week. A group of women from Ra’annana cleared their busy schedules in one regular morning and drove all the way to Mayanei Hayeshua hospital to tour the Mental Health building, visit the various departments, and learn more about this unique facility. The women visited the Family Therapy Unit – a special unit built as a house model and designated for treating the whole family in cases where one or both parents suffer from mental disorders. They continued to the Eating Disorders Unit, where one of the hospitalized girls shared with them her inspiring story and finished the tour relaxing in the Snoezelen room. Through their visit to the Mental Health Wing, they witnessed the unique treatment available at Mayanei Hayeshua’s Mental Health Building.
