Prof. Rael Strous, MD, MHA, is Professor of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine of Tel Aviv University, editor-in-chief of the Israel Journal of Psychiatry, and the chairman of the ethics committee of the Israel Psychiatry Association. Prof. Strous has published hundreds of articles on various research topics, including psychopharmacology , genetics, neuroimaging, neurosteroids, epidemiology and ethics. In addition, he regularly researches, publishes and lectures on the role played by psychiatrists and other mental health workers in the process of euthanasia and genocide during the Nazi era.
